IP telephony

interneto telefonija statusas T sritis informatika apibrėžtis Interneto paslauga, suteikianti pokalbių balsu galimybę tarp interneto abonentų. Naudojamas ↑IP protokolas. Balso pranešimai koduojami, skaidomi į paketus ir pagal paketo antraštėje nurodytą paketo gavėjo adresą siunčiami tinklu. Paketo perdavimo tinklu maršrutą nustato ↑maršruto parinktuvas. Gavėjo įrenginys paketus renka, rūšiuoja ir iš jų atkuria pranešimą. Pokalbis vyksta beveik tikruoju laiku (kai atstumai tarp abonentų dideli, atsiranda nedidelis laiko tarpas, kol pasakyta frazė pasiekia kitą „laido galą“) ir beveik nemokamai (reikia mokėti tik interneto paslaugų teikėjui kaip už įprastą naudojimąsi internetu). atitikmenys: angl. internet phone; internet telephony; IP telephony; VoIP ryšiai: dar žiūrėkIP protokolas dar žiūrėkmaršruto parinktuvas
